Please excuse another long absence, have been traveling a bit this month and it’s taken quite a toll on this poor blog not to mention my kids. BBC has been acting up a lot these days, wonder if there is light at the end of the terrible twos tunnel.

Anyhow thanks for continuing to drop by and hopefully I’ll manage more posts in the weeks ahead!

It’s in the details

I was recently in Hanoi for a quick work trip and really liked the room in the Sofitel Metropole Hotel. I loved those French doors leading to the garden. If you visit make sure to stay in the new Opera wing, the attention to detail is just meticulous.

Disappearing fringe

I am so disappointed with the quality of Isabel Marant clothing of late. Take this Etoile top – the fringe started shedding before I even took it out of the shopping bag and after wearing it for one day it seems half the fringing is gone. I am also having some problems with their other pieces this season. I think I will take a break from IM for a bit.

Rewind

Snapshots from the last couple of months, spending lots of time with the kids in our family and of course the recent Wine and Dine festival. The last 2 years I was still breastfeeding when I attended this event and so had to drink really modestly. This year it was a different story haha!

You can see how much my little one has grown, while my older one is no longer my little boy. Sigh.

No visit to Macau is complete without a meal at Robuchon. The lunch menu is as good value as ever though the desert trolleys are not as sumptuous as before
